Julie Georgas has been named president of Zeno Canada, after serving as
managing director of Zeno for the past seven years, during which she helped increase the agency’s presence and reputation in the country.Her announcement was made alongside the agency's US appointment of Mark Shadle to chief reputation strategist.
“Julie and Mark embody Zeno’s commitment to driving both impactful client work and a culture that invites all points of view and opens opportunities for talent to grow,” said the agency’s Global CEO Barby K. Siegel, in a release.
New appointments–L'Éloi
Jean-François Légaré has joined Montreal talent agency and production house, L'Éloi, as director of marketing and communications, while Alexandre Beaulieu has stepped into the role of general manager.
Légaré previously spent six years with Sid Lee as creative director, overseeing magazines, books, podcasts, as well as a documentary for Hyundai and the United Nations Development Programme. He also served as Editor-in-Chief at enRoute magazine for three years.
Beaulieu arrives from his general manager role at Fergus, an organic food delivery marke acquired by Lufa Farms. He has also led his own management and production company, working with artists like Suuns, We Are Wolves and Omnikrom.

New appointments–ADCC
No Fixed Address CCO Alexis Bronstorph, has been promoted from her VP role at The Advertising & Design Club of Canada to president. She will take over presidential duties from Claire Dawson, now the current chair, who held the post from 2021 to 2023.Ryan Crouchman, LG2's Partner/VP/ECD of Design in Toronto has
stepped into the VP role, after serving on the ADCC’s board of directors since 2020. Hel'l be working closely alongside Bronstorph and Dawson, and executive director Michelle Ovcaric.“Advertising and design in Canada has much to be proud of," said Crouchman, in a release. "I’m looking forward to helping the ADCC continue to champion Canadian creativity globally, and ensuring our creative bar remains high.”
New appointments–C&B
Monique Gamache has joined C&B advertising as design director, and Jarrod Banadyga has joined as creative director.
Gamache arrived at C&B after closing her own design studio, Matter, which she founded in 2020. Matter and C&B had a pre-existing relationship, having worked together in 2023 for clients including Theatre Calgary, Contemporary Calgary, Brookfield, North Water, and University District.
Banadyga started working at the agency in November 2023 after 10 years as creative director of Ireland’s, The Public House.
Additional hires include Trent Turner designer, Michala Sullivan as account director, and Julia Riley as account supervisor.
New appointments, and acquisition–Talk Shop Media
Krystin Lee has been named president of Talk Shop Media, after five years with the PR and communications agency. In the new role, she'll continue to support the growth of Talk Shop's digital division while also taking on executive leadership of Talk Shop Toronto.
"I am incredibly grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me by the board and the opportunities this presents for the company as we remain focused on expanding our presence across North America as an integrated communications agency," Lee wrote in an announcement on LinkedIn.
The appointment follows the agency's acquisition of Jam PR, a Vancouver based public relations firm that brings a journalistic approach to its client services. Jam PR's founder, Ada Slivinski Slivinski joined Talk Shop as VP. In her new role she will focus on business development and growth in Vancouver.
New appointments–ROM
Sally Tindal has been appointed chief marketing and communications officer of the Royal Ontario Museum, a role that leads a wide group of Museum teams including marketing, communications, visitor experience, membership, audience insights, social media, promotions, French-language services, and publishing.
Tindal assumed the role of interim chief marketing and communications officer in early 2023. Previously, she was VP of communications and publishing and prior to joining the Museum in 2017, held several senior leadership positions in the cultural and entertainment sectors, including at Corus Entertainment and publisher General Stoddart, as well as serving on the Board of Canadian Women in Communications and Technology.
