New business and appointments–5&Vine
Multy Home, a global manufacturer of floor coverings and outdoor living products, has selected Toronto marketing agency, 5&Vine, as its first AOR after a competitive North American search.
As a part of the designation, 5&Vine’s founder and CMO, Rahul Raj, is being appointed as fractional CMO for Multy Home and its new brand, Redu Materials—which uses landfill diverted material to create eco products for home, garden and commercial applications.

5&Vine, a certified B-corp, has serviced clients like Greenlight, Invisalign, Pura, and Dialogue as well as ecobee, and Walmart where Raj previously held senior roles. The agency’s first assignment will be to launch a consumer target campaign for Redu Materials, expected in March 2024.

New appointments–Zerotrillion
Global creative agency Zerotrillion appointed a new account director, Danielle
Haberman, to the Toronto team. She will manage various integrated accounts across North America as the agency continues to expand from their New York and Toronto offices.Haberman previously spent four years at Anomaly, leaving the agency as account director, before pivoting to a senior sales role at production house Free Society for several months. Her brand experience includes managing campaigns for brands such as Labatt, Nike, Amazon, McCain Foods, and Arm & Hammer.

New business–Fuse Create
Fuse Create, which has recently bolstered its media and PR offering, has added three North American non-profits to its client roster: Soles4Souls out of Nashville, Tennessee, global charitable organization Compassion Canada, and Confederation Centre of the Arts in PEI.
The Confederation Centre of the Arts awarded Fuse an assignment to build its national brand awareness which will integrate the agency’s creative and media capabilities, with the first work expected in the coming months. Soles4Souls appointed Fuse for creative and PR in the US, starting with a campaign launching in the new year, and Compassion Canada named Fuse its media and PR AOR, which will see the agency leading PR efforts for pulses throughout the year including the present year-end giving season.
Promotions–ZAK
Zulu Alpha Kilo has rounded out its executive team with six internal promotions.

Christine McNab has been promoted from her nearly two-year position as the agency’s first ever CMO to COO. She will maintain leadership of new business activities while also joining ZAK’s executive leadership team.
Christina Hill, who has been with the agency for seven years, will also be joining the executive leadership team, expanding her workflow and operations expertise beyond the creative department and across the agency.
Kelly Flynn has been promoted from creative communications director, to marketing and communications director, where she will work alongside McNab to support new business, agency marketing and PR, and to lead the agency’s social media channels.
Sean Bell has moved from executive strategy director to executive director, comms planning and technology. In addition to leading Zulumatic alongside head of media Alicia Petralia, and overseeing communications planning, Bell will form a new group to guide the agency’s efforts to strategically integrate AI tools across all disciplines.
After nearly eight years with the agency, Laura Dubcovsky has been promoted from senior to executive producer. Her new role will include the training and mentoring of new producers, and helping to improve and codify processes in the year ahead.
Sylvia Stultz’s role as head of talent attraction has been raised to a global title. In her two years at the agency, she has supported the launch of ZAK’s New York and Vancouver offices, as well as Zulumatic media.
New business–Angry Butterfly
Porsche Canada has named creative agency Angry Butterfly as its AOR, making it the first car client for the agency. Angry Butterfly will partner with Toronto-based multicultural marketing specialist agency Barrett & Welsh to emphasize reach to Chinese consumers.
New Business—Blackjet
Blackjet has been selected to lead brand development duties for Hooky, an LA-based start-up that’s “pioneering the use of AI in the music industry in an “ethical and legal way that supports artists.” Hooky’s first partnership recently went live—a Korean-language version of the latest single from artist Lauv.
Blackjet has been leading brand naming, positioning, identity, website and messaging strategy ahead of Hooky’s launch in early 2024.
“Hooky has the potential to shift the industry focus to positive disruption and what’s possible,” said Blackjet CEO Rob Galletta. “It’s a truth in any creative business that great things happen when creators are able to find new freedom to explore and experiment.”
