Plus Company has further enhanced its analytics offering with the addition of Paul Guité as vice-president, analytics and insights.
Guité joins from Quebecor, where he led the media giant’s insights team. Prior to that, he had early-career stops at top media agencies including Touché, Media Experts, and GroupM. He has spent time as a creative media strategist, and worked on strategic initiatives and insights on consumer behaviour for Quebecor.
Plus Company has been moving decisively to enhance its data and analytics offerings since being acquired by Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec in 2021, a shift signaled with the 2022 hire of Sabaa Quao as CCO, a highly respected creative but with deep expertise and experience in technology.
Last year, it expanded its partnership with Brooklyn Data Co. to help clients with data management, and acquired consulting firm Munvo to improve its technology enabled solutions. And in September, it formally introduced Plus AIOS, which uses AI and predictive intelligence to produce more precise views of the customer journey.
Guité will be based in Montreal, but work across Plus Company’s 24 agencies and their clients, using AI-assisted tools to optimize data collection, and creating systems to improve knowledge-sharing for its clients.
“We firmly believe that quality insights drive inspiring and impactful creative work—it’s the foundation of our agencies’ value proposition,” said Karine Courtemanche, executive vice-president at Plus Company Canada and president of the media group. (Courtemanche joining Plus Company was another big moment for Plus in 2023.)
“With Paul’s expertise and passion for strategy and media, as well as his commitment to innovation, I’m convinced that we’ll be pushing the envelope and seeing our teams reach new heights.”
“I’m thrilled to join Plus Company and contribute to the modern and cutting-edge dynamic that characterizes the very essence of this agency network,” said Guité. “The current team is remarkably ambitious. I look forward to collaborating with the network and its clients and, under Karine’s leadership, helping them make informed and sustainable business decisions through an innovative use of data and technology.”
