Lifelong Crush has named Geoff Gingerich, who it describes as "a student of the human condition," its new senior vice-president of strategy. He will lead the agency's growing strategy team.
Gingerich arrives at Lifelong Crush having spent the previous five-and-a-half years in strategy roles with Cossette, where he rose to VP strategy.
His other experience includes stints with Vice's agency Virtue Worldwide, as well as Anomaly and Lowe Roche. He has worked with an array of high-profile clients including Google, Hershey Cnaada, LCBO, McDonald's, and DoorDash.
Broken Heart Love Affair initially launched Lifelong Crush as its content and production arm in August 2020. But over the last year, Lifelong Crush had adopted more of a full-service agency model, most notably with the hiring of Christina Yu and Derek Blais as chief creative officers last May.
Gingerich will work alongside BHLA and Lifelong Crush founding partner and CSO Jay Chaney, who called the agency's new hire a "rare strategic talent" who has demonstrated a strong connection to culture.
"His belief system about how to build effective brands, his rigour and his emphasis on real results matches our own,” said Lifelong Crush's managing director Caroline Kilgour.
