We created the Campaign Cup as a fun way to review just some of the amazing ideas and campaigns over the past 24 years, while also challenging our audience to pick their favourites (no easy task) through a series of head-to-head matchups. The tournament will culminate with one ultimate winner—AKA the Greatest Canadian Ad of the 21st Century (so far).
And now, even if you don’t have any work in the running, you can still be a winner as round two of voting draws to a close.
We’re giving anyone a chance for a year-long subscription to the entire Campaign network of sites—which means Canada, of course, but also the U.S., Asia and U.K., at a value of more than $3,600.
But with second round voting concluding today, and the results revealed Wednesday, you must act quickly.
Click here to download a bracket—while the contest is starting with this second round, aka the “Sweet Sixteen,” we’ve also provided a reminder of the first-round matchups.
Simply fill in the rest of the bracket and then email the completed bracket to david.brown@haymarket.com by end of day Tuesday (April 9), with the subject line: “My Campaign Cup Picks.” (Only one bracket per person.)
You must complete the whole bracket, starting with the Sweet Sixteen right through to the overall winner. That means 15 matchups in total: eight in this round, four in the next, two in the semi-finals and, finally, the championship matchup.
The entrant with the most correct picks will be the winner and if there is a tie, the winner will be chosen by random draw.
