After the resounding success of the inaugural Agency of the Year program in 2025, Campaign has expanded the program for 2026 and is delighted to have landed three top execs to oversee the judging.
“The industry’s reaction to year one surpassed what we had hoped for,” said Campaign co-editor Chris Powell. “With so much interest, we expanded the program, adding new categories and more clearly delineating them into three streams: agencies and people (AOTY); creative work (Campaign BIG); and media creativity, effectiveness and impact (Campaign Media).”
Each of those are chaired by highly respected executives:
•AOTY: Maxine Chapman, VP brand and marketing officer, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
•Campaign BIG: Mike Dubrick, chief creative officer, Rehink.
•Campaign Media: Gautham Pingali, chief media officer, WPP Media.
"The Campaign Canada Awards are an opportunity to shine a light on the work that sets new standards of excellence for our industry,” said Chapman. “Entering isn’t just about winning; it’s a chance to pause, reflect and proudly showcase the work you believe in, gaining meaningful recognition that elevates your people, your reputation, and the value of creativity across Canada."
"These awards are crucial for recognizing and celebrating the truly innovative Canadian media and creative work that not only sets new benchmarks but delivers measurable business impact,” added Pingali.
Campaign has also confirmed more than 40 judges, with a few more being added to round out the juries.
“A win here is more than a trophy, it signals you’re among the best in the country,” said Declan Gough, group business director at Haymarket Media Group. “Winning at the Campaign Awards signals that your agency stands among Canada’s best, earning recognition that extends well beyond your own market.”
